Omotola Jalade was listed among the 100 most influential people in the world in 2013 by Times Magazine: Born on the 7th of February 1978 in Lagos to parents from Ondo state. She had her early education in Lagos before attending command secondary school in Kaduna. She later studied Estate management at Yaba college of technology. She started her acting career in 1995 with the movie titled Venom of justice thus being a launch pad to a career that have seen her play lead/supporting roles in over 300 movies and block busters like mortal inheritance, Ije, Last wedding, Last flight to Abuja etc. She have won several awards such as Best actress English at The movie awards(THEMA) in 1997, best actress 2009 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, Pan African best actress in UK at screen nation awards and many more.
